Columbia University Press, New York, With billion people and rapid economic growth, China will soon be the world's leading economic power, and can be expected to play a corresponding role in international relations. The second main goal of U.S. foreign policy is to ensure the nation maintains access to key resources and markets across the world. Resources include natural resources, such as oil, and economic resources, including the infusion of foreign capital investment for U.S. domestic infrastructure projects like buildings, bridges, and weapons systems.

Dr. Anthony Kubek (J - J ) was a nationally prominent authority on American foreign policy, especially U.S. policy in Asia. At first they were in good relations with the Soviets but they had a split at one point and China started living more or less in isolation, often cooperating with only Communist countries from the South East Asian region. As time went by, they opened up towards the west during the 70s and 80s.   The opening of the Soviet archives in revealed that more than communist members or supporters had infiltrated the American government. The Lie: Soviet agents had no influence on U.S. foreign policy during World War II. The Truth: The Soviet Union conspired to force Japan to attack the United States. Harry.
